When I started C.P.C.E I didn’t know that Spanish was a part of the primary school curriculum until I overheard persons talking about it. I always thought that Spanish was a difficult language to learn, but on my first day of class my lecturer Ms. Verbena Wilburg made the language sound much easier. Eventually I was able to relate to contents of the course which was very relevant, clear and informative. The tasks that were dealt with were very educational, interesting and enjoyable, which have educated me on several aspects of Spanish (e.g. the used of AR, IR, ER verbs). The task seemed too much at times but was necessary to the learning process. I felt good when i heard that the usage of the computer is more dominant in my class. The usage of the computer helps me to get all my information faster and understanding the lessons clearly that were taught.
As I enter more into the Spanish course I found it more interesting and enjoyable since I was able to show my creativity by making a popup book and puppets. I really like the fact that we were able to show our creativity and the fact that most of the information for the course was online and could be attended to at any time. The only thing I dislike was that the website was puzzling at time because the tasks that were given were not set according to the due date. Most time I had to search the sites to see which task is due when, just to make sure that I don’t forget to do any of them. In conclusion I really find the class interesting especially with the use of computer. My only recommendation is for the online tasks to be set according to the due date.
